Hello and welcome, we are Kay and Brandy E. We’ve seen some things, done some things, and have been through some things. We believe in love and respect for all, the healing power of the sun, and the balance between enjoying life and working hard.

Stick around for tons of content about tips and tricks, healing and dealing with fibromyalgia an invisible chronic illness, cooking, camping, being in a loving long-term LGBTQ+ relationship, 2 mischievous pups, local Colorado adventuress, and traveling adventure from the Universal and Disney Parks to the beach, and more.

Kay is a devoted wife to Brandy E, a loving pet mom, a Colorado-born lover of all things Colorado, an avid writer and reader, a great cook and a chef classically trained in culinary arts, and a driven, hard-fighting FIBRO WARRIOR who has always been at peace in nature.

PJ Pup is an English foxhound mix who loves causing trouble and taking vacations.

Mr. Stubbs is a pit mix who is super sweet and goofy and loves meeting new friends.

The PJ Dog

Let’s be honest, one of the most important members of the family is little P.J. (Pooka Josephine) Jr Hammer, a seven-year-old, 54lbs, Harrier/English foxhound mix puppy who has already brought an immense amount of joy and love into our lives. We adopted him from the local Colorado Springs Humane Society in April 2017, and he’s been stealing our hearts ever since.

Mr. Stubbs the Pitiful Pit

We have a new addition to the family as of September 2019. He’s a pit mix. His given name is actually Snow Toes. This name has significant meaning to his previous owners, who gave him the name, but it’s not my story to tell. I affectionately call him Stubbs because he is adorably stubby. He’s also several inches shorter than his older brother PJ. He’s about a month younger than PJ. He’s full of love and affection! He loves playing with his friends at the dog park and is always down to cuddle.
