How We Identify

We identify as cis-gendered, or someone who identifies with the gender they were assigned at birth. Our preferred pronouns are she/her. We are lesbians, coming out at age 15. At the time, we lived in the south (Georgia) which came with challenges. Due to this, and for several other reasons, we have a unique experience to share.

Relationship

On August 15th, 2015 we got married soon after moving back home to Colorado. That day was my best day, and it was long overdue. My wife and I have been together since freshmen year in high school, a long time. Don’t know what I would do without her! Kay, “She is my everything, my light.”

Some of Our Beliefs. Simple Request

In the end, we believe in respect. Treat others how you would like to be treated in return. Some people don’t agree with our relationship or being gay. As a result, to those people, we ask you respectfully not to read our blog instead of making rude and unnecessary comments. We believe you should live your life the way you choose(so long as you do no harm). Respectfully, we ask for the same thing in return.

In summary, we are still a human being and would genuinely appreciate being treated as such.
