About My Pride Page

My queer/GAY page! Welcome to all things LGBTQ+, including

  • My coming out story/experience
  • Internalized homophobia
  • Navigating life and love as someone who’s bisexual

How I Identify

I identify as cisgender, or someone who identifies with the gender they were assigned at birth, bisexual woman. My Preferred pronouns are she/her. I know I was bisexual at the age of six, but came out at age 14. At the time, I lived in the south (Georgia), which came with challenges. Due to this, and for several other reasons, I have a unique experience to share. I’m also going through a divorce (June 2026) from a 20-year-long relationship with another woman.

Some of Our Beliefs. Simple Request

In the end, I believe in respect. Treat others as you would like to be treated in return. Some people don’t agree with how I identify or with being in a same-sex relationship. As a result, to those people, I simply ask you respectfully not to read my blog instead of making rude and unnecessary comments. I believe you should live your life the way you choose (so long as you do no harm). Respectfully, I ask for the same thing in return.

In summary, I am still a human being and would genuinely appreciate being treated as such.
